Geek Movies: Ironman Trailer, HOLY SH!T !!!

Tuesday, September 11th, 2007

WOW! WOW! This is just ridiculous.

At first I thought it would be a disaster to have Robert Downey Jr. play Tony Starks aka Ironman, but as time went on and rumors went out, I kind of got excited. Now that excitement has been bumped up to a sheer WOW factor for me! This trailer is insane, I want more now!

Robert Downey Jr. is for real, and this movie looks like it is going to be huge. I give kudos to everyone that has anything to do with this production…. Did I already say that Robert Downey Jr. is for real! He really is the Tony Starks! I mean the comic books are alive, this is how comic movies should be.

Ok, I am getting way ahead of myself, but I am so excited about this!

Update: They took the trailer down, so here is a link to it!

Words cannot describe on how this trailer makes me feel. It puts me back to my early childhood, to the days that I once believed I was Anthony Starks.

Geek Movies: Hitman - New trailer!

Tuesday, September 4th, 2007

hitman_poster

IGN has the new Hitman trailer up for download in several high-quality formats (including HD). Click here to check it out.

Hitman is based on the hit video game starring Timothy Olyphant as Agent 47 along with Dougray Scott as “Mike”. Click here to head on over to the official Hitman movie website. The site has the trailer as well (IGN has downloadable higher resolution versions though) as well as a wallpaper for the movie.

Are you a gamer and excited for this movie? I’ve add a new poll to our sidebar here on The Geekery for Hitman. Let us know if you’re excited for the movie (or not). It will certainly be interesting to see the game translated into live-action awesomeness.

Expect more Geek Movie coverage here on The Geekery!

UPDATE 12:28 PDT: ComingSoon.net has the exclusive on the Hitman international poster. Kind of looks fake to me with the “Hitman” text at the bottom. Not sure. What do you think?

Iron Man footage from Comic-Con coming

Sunday, August 19th, 2007

Iron Man director Jon Favreau has confirmed on his MySpace page that the footage shown from the new Iron Man movie will be hitting the internets in the near future. Sweet. I caught a bit of the footage via YouTube by someone’s camera phone. I look forward to seeing high quality footage from another movie I’m looking forward to. Keep your eyes on Jon’s MySpace page as he’ll post more details on getting/seeing the footage in the future.

Thanks to ComingSoon.net for the heads up. One of my favorite movie sites.

You know, more movie directors should do movie blogs like Jon does with his MySpace page. Hey Chris Nolan, how about a Bat-Blog?

Indiana Jones and Iron Man Websites Updated

Friday, July 27th, 2007

Indiana Jones 4  and Iron Man are just a few movies I am really excited for coming up in 2008. Awesome uber-geek-movie stuff is coming out of San Diego Comic Con this week.

indianajones4

According to ComingSoon.net (one of my favorite movie sites on the net) - IndianaJones.com has received an update which includes new desktop wallpapers for the upcoming fourth Indy flick. However, I am unable to download any of the wallpapers off their updated site with either IE7 and Firefox. Anyone else having issues?

I am going to keep trying… I want the new wallpapers damnit!

And the Iron Man website is updated with the new graphic of the Iron Man helmet. Looks awesome. I seriously can’t wait for this movie. Iron Man Director Jon Favreau has a MySpace Iron Man movie group going where he often interacts with Iron Man fans which I think is the coolest thing ever. The mere fact Jon makes time to come out and talk with fans about the movie is just awesome. I would keep my eye on Jon for future films as well. I predict he’s going to become a great director of many cool films to come.

I am following stuff coming out of San Diego Comic Con and will probably make another blog post tomorrow about a few more things.
